The deadline for starting the week of October 4th during our 2010-2011 Session (September 6th 2010 through September 5th 2011) is September 25th. The 2010-2011 session officially begins on September 6th, but new students will start week of October 4th. The application must be on file, registration fees, and tuition must be paid by September 25th in order to start on the week of October 4th.

Enrollment Procedure:

1) Inquiry & Open House Session

If you are interested in learning more about our program, please complete our online form to RSVP your attendance to our Open House meeting. The meeting is meant for adults only and children do not attend. This is the first step in our enrollment process and it allows you to get to know us further and see firsthand our teaching facility. Your admission application does not have to be on file to attend an open house. During the meeting you will learn about how our piano program was developed, the curriculum we use, the schedule, and our admissions process. Open house sessions generally last about an hour. Parents are provided with the opportunity to learn more about our program directly from the instructors themselves and to address pertinent questions about the admission process and our program.

The Open House meetings are a great opportunity to ask questions and come to understand how our program differs from other music programs. All sessions are held only on the Saturday dates shown on the RSVP form.

Fill out the online RSVP form and submit to let us know you are coming.

2) Complete the Enrollment Application for Enrollment 2010-2011

The Enrollment Application is made available to you upon your attendance at our open house. The Enrollment Application should be submitted as early as possible to expedite the enrollment process. Submission of this document is required to formally begin the admission process. It generally takes 3 to 4 business days for us to process the application.

3) Complete the Parent Statement form

Attached to the Enrollment Application is a 3-page Parent Statement questionnaire which is designed to help us understand your family better. All information that you give us is kept strictly confidential. Please take your time to carefully answer the questions and then submit this form along with the rest of the application. This document is required to move forward with the enrollment process.

4) Arrange for a Trial Lesson

The trial lesson is the final step of the admission process. Parents of the child applicant will be contacted to arrange a time for their child to meet with an assigned instructor for a private one-on-one lesson. The trial lesson is preview lesson and lasts for about 15 minutes. During this time, the child will be taught a short piece of music and rewarded with stickers for his or her participation. The trial is an important final opportunity for parents to observe the teacher-student interaction as it pertains to their child. It also provides both the parent and the teacher insight into the child's responsiveness to instruction.

5) We will notify you soon after deciding your family is a good fit for our program. You will receive formal letter of acceptance in the mail.

6) Submit a private lesson scheduling form and remit the tuition payment along with $65 registration fee.

All of the above must be completed no later than the deadlines shown above.
